Stories for puppies..from the Kennels

One fine day the 'phone rang."Allo Wenti" said a voice in my ear."Voulez vous venir ici pour une tres grande expo. en Paris. Je veux faire la premiere expo. avec Morganna et Chaucer" Such an invitation!!! Paris!!!Wow!

"Where're  you going in such a hurry?" asked Llewelyn our big Old English Sheepdog...

I crept quietly off.....When I got to France it was practice time for the show

"Hello Morganna! Hello Chaucer"

"We want to be called by our proper names now we're going to a big show in Paris" said Morganna (a little Welsh dog)

"I'm Lamacres Chaucer" said the English voice...from behind. I'm going to the show too. Paris here we come!

There were a million cars all trying to get into the parking ground at the same time and all honking at once. What a cacophony.

"Hoot your hooter like all the rest Didier. Go on we want to hoot as well"

"I have never seen so many dogs in my life not even at Crufts" I said to Morganna

"I've never seen so many humans. Didier told me they've come from all over Europe" said Morganna

"Faites attention Morganna!" said Didier picking up his brush and looking seriously at Morganna

Morganna watching very quietly for a long time. Collette and Didier are sitting on the wall waiting for their turn in the ring. Excited and nervous all at the same time.Look" said Morganna as she spotted the huge black dog " There's  M. Beauceron and M. Dogue Allemand (Great Dane) with their ears standing up.

"This is a picture of me with Didier" Morganna pointed " Can you see us? We're straight across from you. Didier is chatting away to someone.

I am getting third prize aren't I clever. But by far the cleverest thing of all was that I called Didier's new baby  my  witchy Welsh name "Morganna" who arrived quite soon afterwards!!!
