The Role of the Police
I feel the Express who published several of the articles
recently "put up" are a bit unfair to the Police.
Police Officers are a law enforcement body....that is
their job. THEY are not an animal welfare charity...that is not their
role.
When you read some of the articles remember that it was
the police who colluded to save Bosko the wonderful
German Shepherd Police dog.
Don't forget it was the Police
who said they were desperately upset to hear that the RSPCA had destroyed
the poor old dog of the benefactor of the organisation, when they were
trying hard to find him a home..She who had given them on her death £70,000
It was a local Police officer in tears who brought his
dog to us to look after when his new wife told him to get rid of his dog!
Here is Cocoa in the middle of our OES!

The Police take in the dogs as the law provides, but the
it is RSPCA that is supposed to be an animal welfare charity...what are
they doing giving evidence in a court of law that they KNOW will result
in the death of the dog concerned. It is THEIR responsibility to save
the dogs not assist in the killing.
