Tender Loving Care (TLC as you may often see written on patients' bednotes) RSPCA style

(video cutting from the BBC's series called "Animal Police" screened last year over a period of about 12 weeks. My understanding is that if you want the videos you can purchase them @ £16 each...I don't know whether that means the whole lot together or one by one.)

The RSPCA are apparently to show the world just how incompetant and unfeeling they are. This film brought forth 1000s of complaints from ordinary people as well as the veterinary profession

RSPCA men and women apparently have a six week training course which makes them experts in animal/bird/reptile /insect care, oh! and animal law as well!  Solicitors being as simple as they are take several years longer!!

This is Tara sitting waiting, watching by the front gate.

Remember when reading this that the RSPCA has millions and millions in the bank and they couldn't give the poor German Shepherd some last happy weeks.

Remember what it is that the German Shepherd race does for us.

.

You can go shopping and leave very tempting things in the car with them and they will never touch anything other than the two sausage rolls you may, like us , choose to give them.

That's such a small thing. They are so intelligent, they can easily weigh people and their intentions up, and act discerningly on their own initiative.

If you are worried about a family member with a drugs problem, they will find drugs.

If you or a child of yours gets lost in an avalanche they will find him and dig them out.

They will fearlessly ride hung from helicopters to go on daring rescues. Some blind people were led by them through the dangerous mountain passes in Switzerland. They will do water rescues. Always ready and eager to please they watch you and wait on your every gesture. You cannot get up without they are following you.

The Police dog handlers have told us lots of tales about their dogs

Tara and daughter Hecate at Venator Kennels.

One dog who lived in Wrexham .When burglars stole a heap of cash from a house in the Wrexham area, the thieves were still counting the money on their kitchen table fifteen miles away the German Shepherd was gasping at the door waiting to arrest them. There is a similar story about a dog called Carl on these pages.
