This is the top of the East Walk on the left Clarkia and on the right Larkspur. They're just annuals but I shall grow them next year too. I grew the Larkspur in the greenhouse to start them off and the Clarkia were sown straight into the soil. I wondered whether it would be a good idea to try to move some of them instead of just throwing them out when they required thinning and to my delight they transplanted perfectly!
