WELSH WITCH'S GARDEN MARCH 2004

Here we are....the new Flag Garden! Red knipophia, Dark blue Iris Sibirica and also dark blue shorter iris.

It must be really nice for town gardeners not to have this problem!!

You've heard of the cow that jumped over the moon..this one is definitely related. The fences presented no obstacle whatsoever! She left large deep hoof marks all over the orchard lawn and on the gardens

Yesterday it looked like rain first thing so I moved a number of poppies and evening primrose and forgetmenots round the bottom of the small orange blossom tree near the seat at the top of the Flag Garden. We have never moved these successfully before can't think why as they proliferate all over the place on their own...just not where we want them to!

I was so busy in the greenhouse yeterday. There are literally thousands of seeds coming up and more put in yesterday. I also moved the seedlings into bigger sectioned trays. I must have bought a lot of plants in the past... at least I'm not short of trays/boxes but they were covered with revolting snails...and if you believed the commercial "Nothing sucks like electrolux" try snails!!

My partner kindly soaked them in Jeyes fluid so I hope they'll be OK.
