WELSH WITCH'S GARDEN MARCH 2004

I went to look at the puppies' garden. This is in front of the kennels. The mahonia japonica is feeling very happy but the walls need painting. We're going to have them white this year. In this garden is a magnolia grandiflora with its huge 8 inch flowers which are so often spoiled by rain.

But yesterday was spent in the greenhouse for a long time. We haven't got things properly arranged yet. I had been sitting on an unturned dustbin which decided to collapse from time to time giving me a nasty fright. I was delighted to discover a forgotten milk churn, now polished up and a smart, substantial seat with softer towell on top from which to do the various potting jobs.

Pagan (left)..don't look at me like that! You can't come in with your tail nor you Freyja!

The writing on the picture not being too legible. I can see from my milk churn seat..

I sent away to http://www.secretseeds.com for Dianthus Rainbow Mixed plus several others. The seeds arrived two days later with extras.......thankyou very much Secret Seeds!.

I've put them into their seed trays and look forward to something exciting happening!
