An almost impossible task it is to take a photograph of all the activity that is going on in the greenhouse! Everything has come up and is doing well with the exception of of pansies (Unwins) and a T&M nicotiana. ALL the seeds from www.secretseeds.co.uk are up. I'm somewhat overwhelmed. There are trays everywhere including all over the floor and on the step ladder! I've run out of sectioned trays for pricking out so Erik's gone to get some more. |
From a position sitting on the garden path these innocuous aquilegia look quite sinister, rather like cowled ghostly monks, but of course they're quite small really! I shall put them in their place!
The next job is to sort out the plants...I think the best way is Perfume/Height/colour/time. I intend to put warm, jolly colours like red and yellow together in some places. Blue and white cools together, puppy colours together like softly coloured snapdragons/nemesia.
I often set out with plans like this, but it all usually ends up one glorious hotch potch. Even if you do go out of focus you can't go very far wrong with flowers!
