WELSH WITCH'S GARDEN SEPTEMBER 2004
This is the lawn below the garden we're going to alter. Its very sheltered and my partner likes to cook on times with very exotic herbs, peppers, spices fagioli beans. He's suddenly taken an interest in gardening so move over me !
At the moment he has it full of Bacio di Satana (Satan's kisses) which adequately describes the ferocious bite of these peppers, courgettes, artichokes, purple basil.
Round the edges a multiplicity of budleja the roses with the huge red hip on the background to this page. This little garden is a real sun trap and its full of perfume from the balsam trees.
I shall be raking and leveling the ground here as there will be a lawn in the middle instead of the rose garden of previous years.
We have enough space to get in past the once upon a time goat house and we will be able to cut the grass with the big mower.
